About Random Pokemon Generator

Random Pokemon Generator is a free browser tool for Pokemon fans. Draw 1, 3, or 6 Pokemon from 1,025 species, filter by generation and type, lock favorites, and reroll the rest. Reuse a seed with the same settings to reproduce a draw. No account is required. Useful for casual challenges, drawing prompts, and discovering Pokemon. Built primarily with Codex using Astro, React, and TypeScript. Independent fan-made project; not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokemon Company.

Frequently asked questions about Random Pokemon Generator

How can I share a specific result with others?+

You can use the Share feature to create a URL hash containing your rules and results, or copy the seed value. Others can then enter that seed into the Replay seed field to reproduce your exact roll.

Does the tool require an account or store my data?+

No, this is a browser-only tool. It does not require an account, has no analytics or ad layers, and does not save your results on a server.

What does the 'Unique' filter do?+

The Unique filter ensures that no National Dex entry repeats within a single generated result. It changes how slots are drawn to prevent duplicate species in your set.

    Fun one. Draw one, three or six from all 1,025, filter by generation or type, lock the keepers and reroll the rest, and the seed replays the exact roll later. All in the browser, no account, no ads, and the share link carries the whole state. What if there was a one tap party of six mode with no shared types? Feels like the thing a Nuzlocke crowd would hammer all day.
