Frequently asked questions about Reading Journal: TabMap
What can I try for free?+
One complete book map is free. The sample book does not use that free book slot. No app account is required. Optional Pro adds unlimited books, custom legends and local backup/restore.
Can TabMap interpret a book or choose what is safe to share?+
No. TabMap is a manual companion for physical books. You record a page, Keep/Felt/Clue/Discuss, intensity and an optional private note. It does not interpret the book, compare editions or decide another reader's spoiler boundary. If your group uses different editions, agree a chapter, section or scene and use page numbers only as addresses in your own copies. Before sharing, inspect the actual text, image and preview; keep later connections and private notes out of the shared question.

Cute angle. Marking a page with a reason and how strongly it hit you is a nicer habit than a plain bookmark, and everything stays on the phone with no account. The free tier gives one full book map, so I could try it for real. What if two friends in a book club could overlay their maps after finishing? That's the screenshot people would post.
