Discover Alone

Discover Alone is a free map for finding places around Ireland and Britain. It began with Donegal, after Rickie kept hearing people say they did not know what was nearby. The map now covers more than a million places, from well known sights to small local finds that are easy to pass without noticing. Search or explore the map, look at what is close to you, and open a place page for its location and source links. People can add places they know, so a useful local spot has a way onto the map. Explorer Tom gives the written places a lively voice: a bit cheeky, a bit of a storyteller, with tips and guidance that make a trip feel like an adventure. His words appear where a place has been written up; the rest of the map is still there to explore. Use it to find a day out, discover something near home, or plan a stop when travelling. Open the site in a browser and start looking; there is no fee to explore.
