About Yap
Yap is voice dictation for Mac and Windows. Hold a shortcut, speak, and let go: Yap turns your speech into clean, punctuated text and types it into the app you are using. Speech recognition runs on your computer, so recordings are never uploaded. Works offline, 25 languages detected automatically, searchable local history. Free for 3 days, then USD 6.90/month or USD 69/year.

Hold a key, talk, let go, and the words land wherever my cursor is. You can explain it in one breath, which is rare for dictation tools. Speech staying on the device matters a lot if you're writing client emails all day. Price is right there too. What if there was a small team plan, so an office could roll it out to everyone at once?
