My experience on Favors.dev has been mixed, I will name what I have enjoyed so far first and then get to the points that would need some improvements. What I like: The whole idea of this platform is great, allowing new products and founders to get an head start without having to pay real money, it pushes people to actually interact and try out new products. In order to promote your product you have to help others out first. A great, scalable idea. I have got my first points after submitting a review on product hunt for someone else, it felt good to do someone a favor and receiving a reward for it. Additionally I like small details like that you can reserve a slot for a task. What could be improved: Most major issue is regarding the Project submission and the links you are allowed to submit, right before trying to submit my first project, which happened to be a Open-source one, im hit with a wall, forced to submit a other domain than a github repository, this wipes out all free…

Favors.dev makes a lot of sense for founders like me who are building and launching products without a massive audience. It turns early traction, feedback, testimonials, and launch support into a fair give-and-take system where founders help each other through verified actions. As someone working in marketing, automation, and AI-powered tools, I can see the value right away. It solves a real problem: founders need real feedback, real support, and real visibility, not just another passive directory.

Its a genuinely nice idea. Sincere thorough feedback from other founders, indie devs and hackers is something that is difficult to automate or mode. But this platform tries this and its promising.
